He outlined important projects carried out under the Prime Minister’s direction, such as the building of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, the elimination of all langar taxes, the Jiyo Parsi Scheme, the growth of the Buddhist Circuit, the creation of Jain Study Centers, the digitization and transparency of the Haj pilgrimage procedure, and the elimination of the antiquated practice of triple talaq.

The Chief Minister added that schools, colleges, hostels, ITIs, health centers, and skill-development facilities are being built in areas with a high concentration of minorities as part of the Prime Minister’s Jan Vikas Program. “Through the Chief Minister Minority Incentive Scheme, the state government offers minority students financial aid to prepare for a variety of competitive exams under the direction of the prime minister. “The state has implemented the Uniform Civil Code as promised to the people, setting a new national example in the direction of social justice and equality,” he stated.

“The government established a Minority Development Fund, which receives a yearly allocation of Rs 4 crore, to expedite economic and educational development in minority communities in accordance with local demands. Employment possibilities are being made available to members of minority communities under the Chief Minister Hunar Scheme. Loans up to Rs 10 lakh are offered with a 25% subsidy under the Minority Self-Employment Scheme. According to the Chief Minister, the state has enacted a new Minority Education Law to ensure that children from minority populations receive high-quality education. All minority groups in Uttarakhand, including Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis, and Muslims, are guaranteed equal educational opportunities and constitutional rights under this statute, which is not exclusive to any one group. This law mandates that all madrasas and minority educational institutions teach the curriculum set forth by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education in addition to religious education.

He added that in order to preserve societal harmony, the government has also put in place an anti-conversion law in the state to safeguard the independence of all religions and to stop conversions that are carried out under duress, coercion, or fraud. The Chief Minister pointed out that minority groups experience prejudice and persecution in a number of nations worldwide. He urged minorities to use social media to voice their opposition to the prejudice and atrocities occurring in these nations in honor of World Minorities Rights Day.
