CM Yogi Adityanath directs precautionary measures amid UP cold wave; schools shuttered, residents advised to stay warm.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has given the officials directives due to the growing cold. Uttar Pradesh schools up to class 12 have been shuttered until January 5 per CM Yogi’s decision.
Important guidelines from CM Yogi regarding cold
In response to the growing cold, CM Yogi has given the authorities a number of directions. Due to a severe cold wave, schools through the 12th grade have been ordered to close until January 5. All ICSE, CBSE, UP, and other board schools in the state shall continue to be closed in accordance with this directive. Additionally, CM Yogi has instructed all cops to remain in the cold wave area.

Officials have been directed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to make sure that blankets and bonfires are set up in every district. The following three days will see a decrease in both daytime and nighttime temperatures, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The data indicates that Barabanki and Hardoi were the state’s coldest districts on Friday. An orange alert was issued in 34 Uttar Pradesh districts on Saturday. Additionally, eight districts in the state, including Lucknow, are predicted to see frigid days.
