Samadhan Shivir in Haryana: 17,699 Complaints Resolved in Last Six Months, CM Orders Prompt Action

Deputy Commissioners to Spread Samadhan Shivir Information Across Multiple Channels

Haryana CM Saini orders wider awareness of Samadhan Shivir, timely grievance resolution, and strict accountability for officials.

All Deputy Commissioners have been instructed by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to make sure that Samadhan Shivir information is efficiently and extensively disseminated to the public via a variety of channels. He emphasized that in order for individuals to lodge their complaints and obtain prompt remedy, they should be made fully aware of the dates and times of the shivirs.

While presiding over the state-level Samadhan Shivir review meeting with all of the Deputy Commissioners via video conference on Friday, the Chief Minister gave these instructions. Saini also instructed the Deputy Commissioners to transmit complaints they received during Samadhan Shivir along with their precise and unambiguous comments. Additionally, he ordered that no case be dismissed or closed at the district level until its full settlement was guaranteed.

After reviewing the progress, it was discovered that 17,699 complaints had been settled over the previous six months, from July 2025 to December 2025, during the Samadhan Shivirs. Additionally, it was disclosed that Samadhan Shivir is held at the offices of all Deputy Commissioners and Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) throughout the state every Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. People can directly file their complaints during these Shivir.

The Chief Minister mandated that any grievances filed at Samadhan Shivirs be addressed within the allotted period. He emphasized that there should be no inconvenience to the citizens attending the shivir and that their concerns should be taken seriously and sensitively. According to him, officers at all levels who are careless in this area would face severe consequences.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini ordered the Deputy Commissioner, Ambala, to form a committee in order to expedite the resolution of a water drainage complaint that was received during a Samadhan Shivir at a village in the Ambala district. He instructed the committee to include a representative from the Market Committee, the Block Development and Panchayat Officer (BDPO), and the Executive Engineer (XEN) of the relevant department.
