The Oppo Reno 16 Series has officially launched in India, bringing a refreshed design, upgraded camera system, larger batteries, and a host of AI-powered features. The lineup includes the Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16c, both aimed at users seeking premium features without stepping into the ultra-premium flagship price segment.
Alongside the smartphones, Oppo also introduced the OPPO Bubble magnetic accessory and the Enco Air5 true wireless earbuds.
Oppo Reno 16 Series Price in India
The Oppo Reno 16 Series starts at ₹61,999 for the Reno 16 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at ₹67,999.
The Reno 16c is available in three configurations:
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹46,999
- 8GB + 256GB – ₹49,999
- 12GB + 256GB – ₹55,999
The newly launched OPPO Bubble is priced at ₹7,999, while the Enco Air5 earbuds cost ₹3,299.
The smartphones will go on sale in India from July 9 via Amazon, Flipkart, Oppo’s online store, and authorised retail outlets.
Premium Design With High-Refresh AMOLED Displays
One of the key highlights of the Oppo Reno 16 Series is its redesigned appearance. The Starry White colour variant features Oppo’s new HoloVerse 3D design, creating a dynamic visual effect that changes with lighting conditions. The camera module blends seamlessly into the rear panel, while the aluminium frame adds to the premium look and feel.
The Reno 16 sports a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. Meanwhile, the Reno 16c offers a larger 6.57-inch AMOLED display with the same 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,400 nits.
Both smartphones come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, providing enhanced protection against dust and water.
AI Cameras Remain the Biggest Highlight
Photography continues to be the primary focus of the Oppo Reno 16 Series.
The Reno 16 features a triple-camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto portrait camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
The Reno 16c retains the 50MP primary and 50MP telephoto cameras but replaces the ultra-wide sensor with an 8MP camera.
Both devices are equipped with a 50MP front-facing camera featuring a 100-degree field of view for wider selfies and group shots.
Oppo has also introduced several AI-powered camera tools, including AI Remix Collage, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Best Face, AI Eraser, AI Studio, Pop Cam, and Popout 2.0, allowing users to edit and enhance photos directly on the device.

Large Batteries and Powerful Performance
The Oppo Reno 16 Series is powered by different chipsets depending on the model. The Reno 16 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the Reno 16c is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor.
Both smartphones ship with ColorOS 16 and include AI LinkBoost 4.0 for improved network connectivity and AI HyperBoost 2.0 for enhanced gaming performance.
Battery capacity has also seen a notable upgrade. The Reno 16 houses a 6,700mAh battery, while the Reno 16c packs an even larger 7,000mAh battery. Both devices support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, enabling quicker charging times.
OPPO Bubble Introduced as a New Camera Accessory
In addition to the smartphones, Oppo unveiled the OPPO Bubble, a magnetic accessory designed to enhance photography and video recording.
The accessory features a 1.73-inch AMOLED display that mirrors the phone’s rear camera viewfinder, allowing users to take high-quality selfies using the primary camera. It also functions as a wireless remote for capturing group photos and recording videos from a distance.
The OPPO Bubble carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
A Strong Contender in the Premium Mid-Range Segment
With its combination of premium design, AI-powered cameras, large batteries, fast charging, and productivity-focused software features, the Oppo Reno 16 Series strengthens Oppo’s position in India’s premium mid-range smartphone market.
