Ministry of Law and Justice will host Legal Reforms Utsav 2026 in Mount Abu

New Delhi: The Department of Legal Affairs and the Legislative Department under the Ministry of Law and Justice will jointly organise the Legal Reforms Utsav 2026 along with a Chintan Shivir on July 4–5 at Gyan Sarovar, Brahma Kumaris Headquarters in Mount Abu, Rajasthan.

The event aims to review key achievements, assess ongoing reforms, and chart a future roadmap for a modern, technology-driven and citizen-centric legal system aligned with Viksit Bharat @2047.

Legal Reforms Utsav 2026 Focus on Future Legal Framework

The upcoming Legal Reforms Utsav 2026 will serve as a platform to discuss major legal and institutional reforms in India. The programme will be inaugurated in the presence of Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal.

Officials said the inaugural session will highlight the Ministry’s vision for an efficient and citizen-focused legal ecosystem powered by technology and innovation.

 Cover Key Governance Areas

The Legal Reforms Utsav 2026 will include thematic discussions and brainstorming sessions on key governance areas such as Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR), legislative reforms, institutional restructuring, and digital transformation.

Artificial intelligence, technology-enabled governance, capacity building, and administrative efficiency will also be major topics of discussion during the event.

Push Digital Transformation

A major focus of Legal Reforms Utsav 2026 will be the integration of digital tools and AI in the legal and legislative framework. Experts and officials will explore ways to enhance transparency, improve service delivery, and modernize legal processes.
