Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami mourns five deaths in the Tehri bus accident and directs officials to ensure proper treatment for the injured.
Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, expressed sorrow over the deaths of five passengers in a traffic accident that occurred on Monday in the Tehri Garhwal district and wished the injured people a quick recovery.
The Tehri District Control Room notified the SDRF Battalion Control Room that a bus had plunged around 70 meters down a ravine close to Kunjapuri–Hindolakhal, which is within the jurisdiction of the Narendra Nagar police station, according to an official statement. Under the leadership of SDRF Commandant Arpan Yaduvanshi, five SDRF teams from Post Dhalwala, Post Koti Colony, and the SDRF Battalion Headquarters hurried to the scene in response to the alarm.

According to the chief medical officer of Tehri, the bus was carrying eighteen passengers. Three of the critically injured were sent to AIIMS Rishikesh, while five people died. For treatment, ten more people have been brought to Narendra Nagar Hospital.
The state administration has started providing the victims with medical assistance and relief. After discussing the situation with district officials, the chief minister gave them instructions to make sure the injured received the right care and support.
