The iGOT (Integrated Government Online Training) digital platform has been designed to provide ongoing and comprehensive online training to federal servants. With over 1.45 crore registered users, the platform has emerged as the world’s largest government-led capacity-building effort.

Currently, iGOT offers 4,179 training courses, including over 840 in Hindi and 540 in 15 regional languages. Over 6.7 crore courses have been completed, with a completion rate surpassing 70%, demonstrating the platform’s widespread acceptability and usefulness.

Uttar Pradesh is leading the country in iGOT implementation.

Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a leader in the successful implementation of iGOT Karmayogi. More than 18.8 lakh personnel from the state have been onboarded, accounting for 93 percent of total onboarding in the country by 2025.

Furthermore, more than 10 lakh users in the state have finished at least one training course, with 72 lakh courses completed, accounting for 99 percent of total course completions nationwide this year. This achievement represents a big step forward in the state’s efforts to improve good governance, administrative efficiency, and citizen-centric services.

CM Yogi instructed all departments and government institutions to create need-based training modules and submit them to the iGOT portal. He made a seven-day capacity-building program mandatory for all officers and staff, requiring that it be tied to promotions and Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs).

He also emphasized the importance of all training centers across the state developing up-to-date capacity-building courses to improve the efficiency of newly hired people. The Chief Minister directed that Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security be required in all departments’ and government institutions’ curricula in order to train staff for future technological problems.

He also encouraged ministries to upload best governance practices and case studies from Uttar Pradesh to the ‘Amrit Gyan Kosh’ website, pointing out that quality case studies from the state may serve as learning models across the country. He also directed that field-level personnel, like as ANMs, ASHA workers, police constables, Panchayati Raj functionaries, and urban local body staff, receive priority through practical, task-based, and need-driven training programs.
