PM MITRA Park in MP Focuses on Rehabilitation, Not Just Industry

MP government links industrial expansion with rehabilitation at PM MITRA Park

by Desk

Madhya Pradesh’s first PM MITRA Park ensures rehabilitation of displaced families with permanent housing, infrastructure and social facilities.

Under the direction of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the state’s industrial projects are being promoted as tools for overall social development rather than just as investment ventures. In keeping with this goal, the nation’s first PM MITRA Park, which is being built in the Bhainsola hamlet of the Dhar district, is giving the rehabilitation of displaced families primary priority.

The Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) is creating a planned residential colony in the vicinity to aid in the rehabilitation of 89 households who now reside on the land designated for the PM MITRA Park. Permanent homes have been built and given to 24 families as part of the first phase of the restoration plan, and traditional rites were performed during the ceremonial Griha Pravesh. Housing for the remaining families will also be supplied gradually.

Industrial growth is being pursued while guaranteeing the welfare of each impacted family in compliance with the state government’s policy. As a result, special attention has been given to both housing and improving the quality of life for the families impacted by the PM MITRA Park.

140 Plots, 89 Permanent Houses, and Full Basic Infrastructure

There are 140 completed plots and 89 permanent 2-BHK homes in the rehabilitation colony being built for the PM MITRA Park. All necessary amenities, including roads, drainage, piped drinking water, power, and a STP, have been installed in the colony. Furthermore, a community building, playgrounds, a primary school, and an Anganwadi center have been constructed. From a security standpoint, a boundary wall has been built around the entire complex.

The ₹13.48 crore rehabilitation project will be finished by April 2026.

An estimated ₹13.48 crore is being spent on the development of the overall rehabilitation project. Each house costs approximately ₹6 lakh. Houses will be distributed to all remaining recipients in a staged fashion after the project is finished, which is anticipated to happen by April 2026. In the future, the 140 constructed plots will be used for additional rehabilitation needs.

This well-rounded approach to industrial development and rehabilitation at the nation’s first PM MITRA Park shows that social responsibility and economic advancement are equally important to the state government.
