PM Modi Telangana Visit : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs 9,400 crore during his upcoming visit to Telangana on May 10, along with addressing a major public rally in Hyderabad. This marks a significant PM Modi Telangana Visit, his first public engagement in the state after the 2024 general election.
According to official details, the PM Modi Telangana Visit will include virtual inauguration and foundation stone laying for several key infrastructure and industrial projects at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) in Gachibowli. After this, he will also address a large public gathering at Parade Grounds.
The projects include the four-laning of the Hyderabad-Panaji Economic Corridor, development of the Zaheerabad Industrial Area, and multiple railway upgrades under the Kazipet-Vijayawada multi-tracking project. Additionally, a Greenfield POL (Petroleum, Oil, Lubricants) Terminal in Hyderabad and the PM MITRA Park in Warangal will also be part of the announcements during the PM Modi Telangana Visit.
Telangana BJP Sees PM Modi Telangana Visit as Major Boost for Party’s Expansion and Electoral Prospects
The Telangana BJP has described this as a crucial political and developmental event. Party leaders believe the PM Modi Telangana Visit will boost the party’s prospects in the state, which it considers a key region for future expansion. Telangana BJP spokesperson N V Subhash said the party is confident of gaining strong momentum following the Prime Minister’s rally.
Preparations for the rally are in full swing, with the BJP expecting a massive turnout of nearly two lakh people. The party has also launched a “wall writing” campaign across the state to mobilize public support ahead of the PM Modi Telangana Visit.

Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, along with Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao, have actively participated in campaign activities and outreach efforts. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who also took part in a bike rally in Hyderabad, said that the Centre is significantly contributing to Telangana’s development. He added that the state could witness faster growth if a “double engine government” is established, further emphasizing the importance of the PM Modi Telangana Visit.
With large-scale infrastructure announcements and a major political rally planned, the PM Modi Telangana Visit is being seen as a key moment for both development and political momentum in the state.
