OnePlus launches its new N-series smartphone in India featuring Dimensity 6360 chipset, 8,000mAh battery, 120Hz display and OxygenOS 16.

OnePlus has officially introduced the OnePlus N6 in the Indian market, marking the debut of its new ‘N’ series lineup positioned below the Nord series. The smartphone focuses on long battery life, smooth performance and an affordable price segment, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious users.

OnePlus N6 Price and Availability in India

The 1+N6 starts at Rs 22,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 24,999. The device will go on sale from July 4 via Amazon, with additional discounts and bank offers during the ongoing sale period.

The OnePlus N6 will be available in Fresh Mint and Midnight Green colour options.

The 1+N6 features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM). The device also comes with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Performance Powered by MediaTek Dimensity Chipset

Under the hood, the 1+N6 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The company claims an AnTuTu score of 615,800, positioning the device as a strong performer in the entry-mid range segment.

To manage heat, the 1+N6 includes a vapour chamber cooling system with a 5,300 sq mm heat dissipation area, ensuring stable performance during heavy usage.

Camera and Video Features

The OnePlus N6 keeps its camera setup simple, featuring a 50MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera is provided for video calls and selfies.

The device supports 1080p video recording at 60fps and includes OnePlus’ dual-view video mode, allowing simultaneous recording from front and rear cameras.

Massive 8,000mAh Battery Life

One of the biggest highlights of the OnePlus N6 is its massive 8,000mAh battery. OnePlus claims the device can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge, making it ideal for heavy users.

The OnePlus N6 supports 45W wired fast charging and 6.5W reverse wired charging, along with battery health optimisation designed to retain up to 80% capacity after 1,600 charge cycles.

Software and Updates

The 1+N6 runs on OxygenOS 16 based on Android and will receive two years of OS updates and three years of security patches, ensuring long-term software support for users.
