Haryana government highlights agriculture reforms, FPO Mission 2026 launch, and rural development at campaign concluding event in Bawal

The concluding ceremony of the nationwide Save the Farm Campaign in Haryana was held in Bawal (Rewari), where Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini outlined the state’s continued efforts to strengthen agriculture and improve farmers’ income.

The event also witnessed the participation of Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, marking an important milestone for the Save the Farm Campaign in Haryana initiative.

Government Focus on Profitable Farming

Addressing the gathering, CM Nayab Saini highlighted several schemes aimed at making agriculture more profitable. These include incentives for direct sowing of paddy, soil health improvement programs, water conservation initiatives, and crop diversification efforts.

He said the Save the Farm Campaign in Haryana is designed to secure farmers’ livelihoods and promote sustainable farming practices across the state.

Launch of Haryana FPO Mission-2026

On this occasion, the Haryana government launched the Haryana FPO Mission-2026, aimed at strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).

Under the Save the Farm Campaign in Haryana, the mission will help small and marginal farmers gain better access to markets, modern technology, and improved income opportunities.

₹121 Crore Development Projects Inaugurated

Development works worth ₹121 crore were inaugurated and foundation stones laid in the Bawal region. These projects are expected to boost rural infrastructure and support agricultural growth.

Officials said the Save the Farm Campaign in Haryana also focuses on overall rural development along with agricultural reforms.
