Yogi Adityanath meets BJP leaders ahead of possible UP cabinet expansion; Rajnath Singh joins CM in Ram Temple second anniversary celebrations.

Lucknow : Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Pankaj Chaudhary, the head of the BJP state unit, had an important meeting on Tuesday. The conference was attended by a number of high-ranking officials from the state government and the party organization.

Senior RSS officials were there, as was Dharmpal Singh, General Secretary of the BJP Organization.

The meeting of the core group went on for about an hour. After Makar Sankranti, there is a lot of conjecture that the Yogi cabinet in Uttar Pradesh would be expanded. There are currently 54 ministers in the Yogi government, and that number could rise to as many as 60.

Maintaining regional balance in the cabinet enlargement will be crucial because the state BJP president and the chief minister are both from the Gorakhpur division. Caste equations are anticipated to be significant in addition to regional representation.
