CM Yogi Adityanath celebrates Kisan Samman Diwas, distributes tractors, honors farmers, and launches Chaudhary Charan Singh Seed Park in Lucknow.

On the occasion of Kisan Samman Diwas, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the efforts of farmers. The CM spoke of the joy on the faces of farmers who received tractors as part of the Kisan Samriddhi Yojana. According to him, a farmer is transporting his wife and mother in a tractor. This is the farmer’s strength: farming produces gold in the form of food when he perspires and transfers energy with the mother soil by absorbing the cold in his bones.

In the courtyard of Vidhan Bhawan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented flowers to the monument of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh. On the occasion of Kisan Samman Diwas, the CM handed the tractor’s keys to the farmers. FPOs, scientists, farmers, and others were also honored. By hitting the button, the Chief Minister began the Chaudhary Charan Singh Seed Park Attari Lucknow land allocation procedure.

In 2014, farmers were included in the government’s agenda for the first time.

According to the Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh’s farmers have advanced thanks to their diligence. The farmers were included in the government’s agenda for the first time in 2014, when Narendra Modi assumed power. Since the earth is our mother and we are all its sons, it is the son’s duty to assist the mother when she is ill or in need.

In 2014, PM Modi raised awareness of Mother Earth’s health for the first time through the Soil Health Card. From Pradhan Mantri Krishi Simai Yojana to Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, MSP, or from seed to market, farmers’ amenities were expanded.

Farmers now benefit from all government programs.

Former Prime Minister and former UP Chief Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, the Messiah of farmers, has been awarded the Bharat Ratna by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A program for small and marginal farmers to redeem agricultural loans was put into place. Previously, farmers were not included in any government programs; however, today, they benefit from all government programs.

The middleman no longer sets the price at which farmers sell their products. The government will purchase the crop if the farmer receives a decent price on the market. Paddy, wheat, gram, mustard, millet, maize, and other crops have become much more widely produced in Uttar Pradesh, and their prices have decreased. This is the foundation for farmers’ prosperity.

Chaudhary Charan Singh was a rural, village, and agricultural farmer.

Chaudhary Charan Singh’s statement was used by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He consistently worked for the sake of the nation, the town, and the farmers. He used to say that India could never be wealthy as long as farmers remained impoverished. The true India lies in its rural areas. The Indian fields and barns are a part of the country’s route to prosperity. The foundation of a strong democracy is awareness manpower.

He carried out the land reform initiative in the Uttar Pradesh administration as soon as he had the opportunity. He played a significant part in the Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act. To prevent intermediaries from taking advantage of farmers, the Mandi Act was passed. Additionally, the Patwari system was eliminated. Additionally, small-marisal farmers’ 0.5 acres of land were excluded from paying land taxes. Sales taxes were not applied on fertilizers. In addition, he began a grain program in lieu of employment. In order to offer financing for the Agriculture and Rural Development Scheme, he was instrumental in the creation of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).

In Uttar Pradesh, farmers strive for wealth.

According to the chief minister, between 1996 and 2017 (21–22 years), farmers were not paid around 75,000 crore rupees higher than the price of cane; yet, in just 8 years, approximately 75,000 crore rupees were transferred into their accounts. Recently, the price of sugarcane has gone up. The next sugarcane price for the 2025–2026 crushing season is Rs 400 per quintal. According to the chief minister, UP farmers have made progress toward wealth. Farmers may make Uttar Pradesh famous by creating high-quality, reasonably priced goods if they focus on modern technologies and high-quality crops.

Our ministers are farmers as well.

According to CM Yogi, the double engine government has established 20 new Krishi Vigyan Kendras in partnership with the Indian government in just 8 years. There are currently 89 of them in UP. There aren’t many Krishi Vigyan Kendras in any state throughout the nine climate zones. The development of a Center of Excellence is underway.

The job of the Department of Agriculture never stops. Sanjay Nishad works in fisheries production, whereas our ministers Surya Pratap Shahi, Chaudhary Laxmi Narayan, and Baldev Singh Aulakh are farmers.
The government’s work was also listed by the CM.

According to the Chief Minister, a seed park with contemporary technologies is being constructed in Lucknow to preserve Chaudhary Charan Singh’s memories. Farmers have access to the greatest quality seeds on schedule, and if they plant them on time, production can rise by thirty percent. 31 acres in Barabanki have been set aside for the construction of a cutting-edge tissue culture facility, which will be crucial to the field of tissue culture (potato, banana, cume, etc.). According to CM Yogi, farmers have grown tomatoes and potatoes underground, citing Padma Shri Ramsaran Verma. All farmers receive training as well. In his hometown of Daulatpur, the Kisan Pathshala was established this time.

When the farmer receives timely technology, fertilizer, and seeds, he will succeed.

A new record of one thousand quintals per acre has been set by sugarcane growers in Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, according to Chief Minister Yogi. The CM requested that all farmers be taken there and given an overview of the technology by the Agriculture and Sugarcane Department. When he provides technology, fertilizer, and seeds on schedule, the farmer will succeed. According to the CM, natural farming is the only way to prevent ailments like cancer and kidney failure.

CM stated that the speed of projects is no longer slow after listing the task of farmer interest.

The CM emphasized the efforts made with farmers’ interests in mind. According to him, farmers’ loans related to 16 lakh private tubewells have been forgiven. The government gives the electricity company Rs 3600 crore annually. The LDB will now be able to obtain loans through the cooperative at a rate of 6% instead of the previous 11.5 percent. The government will act in farmers’ best interests at all times. The schemes are no longer moving slowly. The safety of farmers is no longer a concern. The farmers have the support of the government. Chaudhary Charan Singh believes that the double engine government will always act in the farmers’ best interests.
