CM Bhajan Lal celebrates Tribal Pride Day in Dungarpur, launching Rs 87 crore tribal welfare projects and providing Rs 204 crore DBT to farmers & students.
Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will be present at the state-level Tribal Pride Day function on Saturday in Dungarpur, which will commemorate Birsa Munda’s 150th birthday. The Chief Minister will use this occasion to launch 31 projects worth Rs 25 crore and lay the foundation stone for 31 projects worth Rs 62 crore that will benefit the welfare and development of tribal groups.
Additionally, farmers and tribal students would receive a total of Rs 204 crore in Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT). On this occasion, the Chief Minister will use video conferencing to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nationwide program in Gujarat. In addition, Sharma will provide 20 tribal kids with free skill development training in Assistant Machine Operator Injection Extrusion at CIPET, Jaipur, following the state-level event.
Residential Batch to Start As Well
In order to train tribal kids in computer skills, he would also introduce the RS-CIT course at three training knowledge centers in Udaipur, Dungarpur, and Banswara run by RKCL. In addition, he will start a residential batch of 60 female students at the Tribal Bhavan in Jaipur to prepare them for the IIT-JEE, NEET entrance exams, and other competitive tests.

The Chief Minister would give 12,000 tribal students Rs 4.08 crore for supplies like uniforms and stationery during this time. For the Rabi crop season 2025–2026, Sharma will also provide 50,000 tribal farmers with free hybrid vegetable seed minikit demos and organic inputs valued at about Rs 3 crore.
Assistance for Farmers
Through DBT, Sharma will give recipient farmers Rs 200 crore in subsidy amounts under a number of Agriculture and Horticulture department programs. Schemes for farm ponds, diggies, pipelines, fences, agricultural equipment, the Gobardhan fertilizer scheme, vermicompost, drip-mini sprinklers, inexpensive onion storage rooms, solar pump sets, and sprinklers will all assist farmers. Additionally, 2,000 administrative punishments for the PM-KUSUM-B component solar energy plant project would be issued by the chief minister.
In the meantime, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in a celebration celebrating Birsa Munda’s 150th birthday that is being held in Gujarat’s Narmada district. He will use this occasion to officially launch and set the groundwork for a number of projects totaling more than Rs 9,700 crore.
