Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Highlights AI’s Role in Governance at AI Impact Conference 2026

Rajasthan announces AI Centre of Excellence, National AI Literacy Programme, and MoUs using holographic technology.

AI Impact Conference 2026 in Rajasthan highlights AI for governance, education, health, agriculture, and skills training for 5,000 youth.

The Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) in Jaipur hosted the inaugural session of the Rajasthan Regional AI Impact Conference 2026, which was addressed by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. He claimed that artificial intelligence is writing a new code for humans in the twenty-first century. He stated that AI is playing a key part in accomplishing the goals of developed Rajasthan, and that its wise use is further boosting e-governance and digital inclusivity.

The Chief Minister stated that AI is bringing significant improvements in sectors such as health, education, agriculture, and administration, which is raising the standard of living for the average man. He urged companies, investors, and young to make Rajasthan a hub for AI-based innovation. He stated that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is developing AI as a national power.

The Chief Minister informed that the state government’s AI-ML policy will foster a transparent, fair, and privacy-protected AI system beginning in 2026. The policy will help to improve the quality of public services, promote administrative efficiency, and combat cybercrime. The state will construct an AI Centre of Excellence, as well as promote AI education in schools, ITIs, polytechnics, and colleges.

Union Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said during the program via video conferencing that skill training will be provided to 5,000 youngsters in Rajasthan, and data centers will be established in the state. He predicted that AI would become an intrinsic element of every individual and organization in the future.

Union Minister of State for Information Technology Jitin Prasada stated that the government’s objective is to democraticize technology so that the benefits of AI reach every person in the village and society. He announced that India would soon hold a worldwide AI meeting. The Chief Minister announced various digital projects, including the National AI Literacy Programme, the Rajasthan AI-ML Policy 2026, and the Rajasthan AI Portal. Several MoUs were also broadcast using holographic technology.
