The event marked the beginning of a state-wide cleanliness pledge and awareness campaign, under the theme “Swachhta Hi Seva” (Cleanliness is Service).

The initiative witnessed active participation from citizens who engaged in shramdaan (voluntary labor) to spread the message of cleanliness across the city. PPE kits were distributed to sanitation workers, acknowledging their tireless contributions to maintaining hygiene and public health.

As part of the environmental awareness drive, participants planted saplings at Ramnivas Bagh, committing to sustainable practices and eco-friendly development. Beneficiaries of the PM SVANidhi Scheme were also handed over financial assistance checks, reinforcing the government’s efforts to integrate social welfare with civic responsibility.
