“Do boond Har Baar” campaign launched by CM Sharma to provide polio vaccine to all children under five, ensuring a polio-free future.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced the state’s sub-national pulse polio campaign “Do boond Har Baar”. In order to kick off the campaign, the Chief Minister gave the infants polio insurgent medication. The goal of this big program is to provide polio medication to over one crore children in the state.

Additionally, the Chief Minister unveiled a poster with the headline Do boond Har Baar, Rehab on Polio.

This is a tool for a safe future, not a campaign.

For the initiative to succeed, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma urged public involvement. Up until the age of five, he urged all parents to provide their children with polio preventative medication.

He emphasized the significance of this campaign, saying, “It is not a campaign, but a medium to give a secure future to the future generations.” He cautioned that only two drops of medication can prevent polio, an infectious disease that can be fatal to a kid.

Drugs are given to 1.08 crore children, with thorough preparation

The Health Department has put a lot of effort into making this program a success. To provide polio vaccine to about 1 crore 8 lakh children in the state:

No child in the state is denied a polio dose, and the state’s eradication of polio is still a success.
