In a bid to celebrate Rajasthan Day and promote youth engagement, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will flag off the Viksit Rajasthan Run 2026 in Jaipur on March 15. The initiative, launched last year on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, is part of a week-long celebration from March 14 to March 19 across the state, with multiple events planned in all districts of Rajasthan.
The Viksit Rajasthan Run 2026 aims to encourage active participation of students, youth, and the general public, transforming the event into a grand public festival. The run will start from Amar Jawan Jyoti on Janpath, circle the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, pass through Tonk Road and Rambagh Circle, continue via Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Circle, and return to Amar Jawan Jyoti. Approximately 50,000 participants, including students, volunteers, youth from NSS, NCC, Bharat Scouts & Guides, Hindustan Scouts & Guides, NYKS members, as well as athletes from government and non-government organizations, are expected to join.

Neeraj K. Pawan Reviews Preparations for Viksit Rajasthan Run 2026, Ensures Safe and Organized Event
Addressing preparations for the event, Neeraj K. Pawan, Secretary of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, chaired a meeting at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. He instructed all concerned departments to ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities, guaranteeing a safe, organized, and successful event. Officials from school education, technical education, higher education, tourism, and NCC were also present.
The Viksit Rajasthan Run 2026 is designed to foster public participation while highlighting Rajasthan’s commitment to youth empowerment, fitness, and active community engagement. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized that such initiatives are essential for promoting a healthy lifestyle among the youth and celebrating Rajasthan’s progress and development.
State authorities have also ensured comprehensive planning, including coordination with universities, colleges, schools, and volunteer organizations, to make the Viksit Rajasthan Run 2026 a memorable event for participants and spectators alike.
