Lucknow: On the historic day of the Dandi March Anniversary, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and all freedom fighters who took part in India’s struggle for independence. The CM recalled how the 1930 march, led by the ‘Father of the Nation’ from Sabarmati Ashram, ignited a new spirit of self-reliance and courage among the Indian masses.

Yogi Adityanath highlighted the unparalleled significance of the Dandi March Anniversary, stating that it marked a turning point in India’s freedom movement. The Salt Satyagraha not only challenged the tyrannical British rule but also demonstrated how truth, courage, and collective determination could shake the foundations of even a mighty empire.
