Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma proclaimed Diwali bonus for approximately six lakh state government employees.The incentive would be extended to individuals who are employed at pay level L-12 or with a grade pay of Rs 4,800 or less, according to the Chief Minister. Bhajanlal Sharma, the Chief Minister, conducted an inspection of the preparations in Jaipur the day prior to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s arrival to attend the inauguration program of the exhibition on new criminal laws.
The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, which were implemented on July 1, 2024, are commemorated in the exhibition one year after their inception. The exhibition will be on display from October 13 to 18.

Rajeev Sharma, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Rajasthan, encouraged the public to attend the forthcoming exhibition on India’s new criminal laws during his interview with the reporters. “The inauguration program of the exhibition on new criminal laws will be attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.” DGP Sharma stated that the exhibition should be visited by the public in order to obtain information about them.

The Prime Minister’s vision for the three new criminal laws was to replace colonial-era laws that had persisted post-independence and to reform the judicial system by refocusing on justice rather than punishment. “Secure Society, Developed India- From Punishment to Justice” is the theme of the program. The Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), and the Indian Evidence Act were all superseded by new criminal laws.
