Jaipur Hosts First-Ever Army Day Parade Outside Cantonment Areas

Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurates Army exhibition in Jaipur; Army Day Parade on Jan 15 to display valour, discipline, and technology.

On the 15th of this month, Jaipur will host a magnificent Army Day parade. A four-day Know Your Army exhibition opened at the Bhawani Niketan Education Committee campus in Jaipur as part of the 78th Army Day celebrations. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated the show. He also saw the Army’s newest equipment and weapons on display.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the Know Your Army exhibition provides a glimpse into cutting-edge weaponry and modern battle procedures. It explains to the general public how the country’s Army operates around the clock to protect the nation. He stated that the Army Day Parade will be staged in Jaipur for the first time outside the conventional military cantonment sites.

This parade will provide citizens with an opportunity to experience the Indian Army’s discipline, valour, sacrifice, and military strength. Mr. Sharma stated that, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the modernization of the country’s armed forces has advanced at an unparalleled rate. He emphasized that the Make in India and Atma Nirbhar Bharat efforts prioritise indigenization in defense sector.

The Indian Army’s mechanized troops, paragliding teams, skydivers, dog squad, and several other groups performed live demonstrations at the inaugural ceremony. The display was organized to highlight the Army’s work culture, technology, and operational readiness. The exhibition will continue for five days. Missiles, drones, Army tanks, and armaments from Operation Sindoor will be on exhibit from 10:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Rehearsals for the Army Day Parade, which is planned to take place in Jaipur, began at Jagatpura on January 1, and are free to the public.
