Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that the upcoming State Budget will focus on the well-being of all citizens and segments of society. He stated that the budget preparation process is not being kept to closed rooms; rather, the State Government is ensuring that all stakeholders participate in order to present a truly inclusive and welfare-oriented budget.

As part of the ongoing pre-Budget consultation meetings, the Chief Minister met directly with members from the industry and manufacturing sectors on Friday at Surajkund, Faridabad. According to Saini, industries are growing rapidly in Haryana, and huge industrial units are increasingly choosing the state as a destination. With this in mind, the State Government is developing new policies to build a healthier industrial ecology. He emphasized that there will be no budget cuts for industrial development. The government has set an aim for the forthcoming budget to be more industry-friendly in order to enhance the state’s economy and contribute to the achievement of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. He went on to say that the goal of such forums is to achieve the spirit of participatory democracy and governance in order to accelerate Haryana’s growth even further.

71 recommendations from pre-budget consultations were implemented in last year’s budget.

The Chief Minister stated that the Haryana Government also held pre-Budget consultation meetings last year, which included comprehensive and substantive deliberations, and that 71 proposals made during those consultations were directly included into the budget. He claimed that the Industry and Labour Department is the backbone of Haryana’s economy. Keeping this in mind, a budget of roughly Rs. 1,951.43 crore was set aside for this department in 2025-26, of which Rs. 873.51 crore has already been spent.
