by Desk

Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma held a high-level meeting with Udaipur division BJP leaders, reviewing development projects, voter-list updates, and key public issues.

At the Chief Minister’s house in Civil Lines, Jaipur, Rajasthan, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma presided over a high-level divisional meeting on Wednesday with Mandal presidents and BJP district office-bearers from the Udaipur division. The goal of the more than four-hour-long conference was to improve coordination between the party organization and the government.

The meeting was attended by 44 office-bearers from the Udaipur district, led by BJP City District President Gajpal Singh Rathore. BJP State President Madan Rathore presided over the meeting, which was headed by Chief Minister Sharma. Rajya Sabha MP Ghanshyam Tiwari, former state presidents Dr. Arun Chaturvedi and Ashok Parnami, and Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa were also present. The session was led by State Vice President Mukesh Dadhich.

Pay Attention to the Government’s Two-Year Milestones

Discussions on regional issues, pre-budget development projects, the status of major government initiatives, and the ongoing Special Summary Revision of the Voters List, which began on November 4, were held, according to Media In-charge Dr. Seema Champawat. Programs for the Unity March, celebrations of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birthday, and the Delhi-based Ganga Pravah Yatra were also reviewed.

Each office-bearer’s feedback was individually heard by CM Sharma, who also asked follow-up questions and promised appropriate action. He placed a strong emphasis on improving government-organization coordination and instructed office-bearers to concentrate on events commemorating the state government’s two-year anniversary, which are set for December 10–25 and culminate on former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday.

Unprecedented One-to-One Feedback Program

As the first time a Rajasthani chief minister has engaged so directly with employees of a whole division, BJP General Secretary Paras Singhvi praised the chief minister’s initiative in soliciting one-on-one input from grassroots leaders.

The CM directed BLOs and BLA-2 to carry out a door-to-door name inclusion drive and make sure that no eligible person is left off the voter list. As the second anniversary draws near, he also emphasized the importance of promoting government initiatives.

Demand for Maharana Bhupal Hospital’s Cancer Unit

During the budget discussion for Udaipur, BJP District General Secretary Devilal Salvi requested the Chief Minister to build a dedicated cancer unit at Maharana Bhupal Hospital — the largest hospital in Southern Rajasthan — citing increased cancer cases and the need for specialised care locally. He pointed out that the lack of such a center currently forces patients to travel to private hospitals in Jaipur, Ahmedabad, or both.

He also brought up concerns about:
