CM Nitish Kumar inspected the Danapur–Bihta elevated corridor and Sherpur–Dighwara Ganga bridge, directing officials to speed up construction for better Patna–Bihta connectivity.

He gave the instruction to speed up the construction process during this time. He also examined the Ganga bridge’s building between Sherpur and Dighwara.
CM Nitish Kumar: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited the Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga bridge and the Danapur-Bihta elevated corridor building sites on Monday. The Chief Minister gave the order to accelerate the work after expressing satisfaction with both projects’ progress. When these developments are finished, he claimed, travel between Patna and Bihta will be easier, and traffic to Koilwar will be less congested.

The Danapur-Bihta elevated route is being built quickly and without any obstacles, according to officials who conducted the inspection. When this corridor is finished, there will be even greater access to Patna Metro, the International Airport, and other major thoroughfares. The SM had previously stated that the Danapur-Bihta elevated route will be finished by September 2026, according to DM Dr. He had given the agency representatives and project authorities instructions to do the work by the deadline. He also gave instructions to clear the construction site of any obstructions.
Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga bridge construction
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also assessed the Sherpur-Dighwara Ganga bridge’s building progress today. They were informed by officials that the bridge’s construction was operating at full capacity and that its shape was gradually becoming apparent. According to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the bridge’s completion will facilitate travel between North and South Bihar. There will be less traffic in Patna city as well.
