CM Mohan Yadav announces talks with ASU, Purdue and Asia University to set up study centres in Madhya Pradesh, aiming to offer global-standard higher education.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that pupils within the state should have access to education of international standards within Madhya Pradesh itself. This would diminish the necessity for students to pursue higher education abroad and would enable them to access an internationally comparable academic environment domestically. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav delivered a speech at a high-level meeting convened at the \u2018Sushasan Bhavan\u2019. The state administration is currently implementing decisive measures to position Madhya Pradesh prominently on the global education stage. A dedicated task force will be established to develop study centers affiliated with international institutions. Instructions in this matter will be issued shortly.

Officials of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis stated that substantial progress is being achieved. Active discussions are ongoing with two globally esteemed institutions in the United States, Arizona State University (ASU) and Purdue University, as well as Taiwan’s distinguished Asia University, regarding the establishment of their study centres in Madhya Pradesh. These esteemed institutions are internationally renowned for their excellence in education, research, and innovation. Ongoing discussions with the senior leadership of these universities are being conducted at the government level to expedite the process and realize emerging opportunities.

Local industries, entrepreneurs, and the innovation ecosystem will also gain from expert insights and collaborative research initiatives.

Professor Santosh Vishwakarma is being appointed as the chairperson of the task force. This task force will review all technical, academic, and legal considerations pertaining to the establishment of study centers for international universities. It will also accelerate the process of securing agreements with these institutions. Effective negotiations will establish Madhya Pradesh as one of the most appealing and exemplary destinations in the country for higher education, where an extensive academic network of international institutions will present new opportunities and innovative pathways for the state’s talent.
