Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced that the year 2026 will be dedicated to Madhya Pradesh Farmer Welfare, aiming to improve farmers’ income and strengthen the state’s agricultural sector. In a post shared on his official X page, the CM emphasized the importance of empowering farmers as a cornerstone for the prosperity of both the state and the nation.
Under the Madhya Pradesh Farmer Welfare initiative, the government plans to focus on crop enhancement programs to increase agricultural productivity. In addition, special attention will be given to livestock and dairy development to boost milk production, ensuring diversified sources of income for farmers.

CM Yadav Declares 2026 as the Year for Madhya Pradesh Farmer Welfare, Pledges Support for Agriculture, Crop Enhancement, and Livestock Development
CM Yadav stated, “If our farmers prosper, the state and the country will naturally prosper. The year 2026 has been dedicated to Madhya Pradesh Farmer Welfare to strengthen agriculture, improve crop yields, and enhance animal husbandry.” He further added that the government is committed to providing all necessary support and resources to farmers to help them achieve sustainable growth and higher earnings.
The Madhya Pradesh Farmer Welfare program will also aim to modernize farming techniques, promote advanced agricultural practices, and create opportunities for farmers to increase their profitability.
