Arvind Kejriwal, during his Rajkot visit, slammed the Gujarat govt over farmer arrests and predicted AAP’s rise in the upcoming elections, claiming BJP’s 30-year rule is ending.
Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, during a three-day visit to Gujarat, engaged in a discussion with party workers in Rajkot regarding the forthcoming municipal corporation elections. He expressed his conviction that the forthcoming mayor of Rajkot would hail from the AAP.
He stated that the residents of Rajkot demonstrated their confidence in the AAP by awarding the party 18% of the ballots in the previous election, and that this trust has increased ‘substantially’ since that time.
Kejriwal stated that it is now time for the BJP, which has held power for 30 years, to step down. Over the course of 30 years, Singapore has emerged as a developed nation, whereas the BJP has significantly deteriorated the situation in Gujarat during the same period. The passage of time continues its course. Now Gujarat will establish a government representing the people. Whatever the populace declares shall be carried out.

During interactions with workers, Kejriwal stated that the children of farmers were apprehended in a state of ‘panic’ amid a peaceful protest. He stated that the farmers assembled peacefully to agitate against the ‘Karda Pratha’ and to assert their rights.
“The Constitution grants every citizen the right to peaceful protest; however, the protesters were subjected to baton charges, falsely accused, and imprisoned,” he stated.
The AAP leader further disclosed that among the 88 individuals detained, 42 have been released on bond, while 46 remain incarcerated.

This is the manner in which the British traditionally treated us. Gujarat is the homeland of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel, who led the movement to oust the British from the nation. The British also held the conviction that no one could displace them from India. However, Gandhi and Patel expelled them. Today, the BJP maintains the belief that their 30-year rule renders them invulnerable to removal. There are two years remaining. After two years, the citizens of Gujarat are expected to oust the BJP, Kejriwal stated.
Gujarat will no longer accept acts of oppression.
Kejriwal stated that such instances of ‘dictatorship’ and ‘brutality’ in Gujarat would no longer be tolerated. The BJP believed they could undermine the farmers’ resolve through repression; however, they ultimately unified the farmers of Gujarat.
“Villagers from the regions where the arrests occurred assembled to tend the farms of the detained individuals, demonstrating solidarity as one community,” he remarked.
Over the course of thirty years, Gujarat has experienced a decline in its progress.
Kejriwal criticized the infrastructure in Gujarat, stating that the roads are in poor condition: “In 30 years, Singapore has developed into a prosperous nation, whereas Gujarat, under BJP governance for the same period, has deteriorated.”
He criticized the BJP for neglecting the development of adequate roads, the effective management of schools, and the enhancement of healthcare facilities. He alleged the existence of extensive drug trafficking throughout Gujarat and asserted that individuals who oppose the BJP are frequently subjected to FIRs.

Be prepared, as FIRS-AAP will support its members.
Kejriwal cautioned that FIRs may be registered against AAP workers, but assured them of his unwavering support. If they detain you in prison, I will ensure your release, he stated.
