Ahmedabad / Bharuch / Narmada / Vadodara, Gujarat: In a significant labor victory, AAP MLA Chatar Vasava successfully resolved worker demands at Nitrex Chemical India Limited in Jhagadia GIDC after leading a 24-hour indefinite dharna.
Speaking to the media, Vasava said the workers had 13 key demands, all of which were presented to the company management. After discussions with the CEO, HR head, and unit managers, the company agreed to 11 of the 13 demands, with immediate implementation starting tomorrow.

Key Resolutions Include:

Wage Hikes: Salary increases will be implemented from April 1, based on seniority and years of service.

Permanent Employment: Long-serving workers will be considered for permanent employment in the upcoming Board of Directors meeting, following the precedent of the first 50 employees.

No Retaliation: Workers who participated in the strike will face no punishment or harassment, ensuring future disputes are handled amicably.
Vasava expressed satisfaction over the peaceful resolution and thanked all supporting workers, leaders, police personnel, and media members. He emphasized that the outcome ensures workers’ rights are protected and strengthens labor welfare in the region.
