New Delhi— Residents and activists gathered outside the Delhi Assembly today to protest the Palam fire tragedy, which claimed multiple lives due to apparent lapses in emergency response. The demonstration highlighted public outrage over preventable failures during the fire incident.
AAP Delhi Convenor Saurabh Bhardwaj addressed the crowd, strongly condemning the events leading to the Palam fire tragedy. “This tragedy could have been avoided if emergency services had functioned properly. Fire trucks arrived late, and the ladders didn’t even open,” he said, emphasizing the severity of the situation.
