September 8, 2026 | New Delhi : A Manipuri music teacher was beaten to death in Delhi after a dispute over noise outside his home, triggering anger among Northeast communities in the capital.
Chongtham Vikram Singh, a well-known guitarist and music teacher from Manipur, died after an alleged assault in Kilokari village near Ashram.
The incident took place late Sunday night in southeast Delhi. Singh had reportedly objected to loud shouting and a disturbance involving delivery workers and dhaba staff near his residence.
