New Delhi: Saurabh Bhardwaj, senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, has sharply criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party for its first-year performance in Delhi, accusing the ruling party of misleading citizens and failing on key governance issues.
Misleading Statements and Unrealistic Promises
During a press briefing, AAP Saurabh Bhardwaj criticise BJP claims of needing decades to deliver policies. He said, “The people elected BJP for five years, not 20. Show results now instead of making promises for 2047.” He emphasized that citizens expect immediate action and tangible outcomes rather than long-term rhetoric.
Allegations on Environmental and Public Welfare Issues
AAP Saurabh Bhardwaj criticise BJP over spreading false information about Yamuna cleaning during Chhath Mahaparv. He added that such misinformation damages public trust and undermines important environmental initiatives in Delhi.

The AAP leader also took aim at reports of luxury cruise boats being considered for BJP leaders, including local politicians. “Instead of focusing on the welfare of citizens, BJP is busy planning luxuries for themselves,” Bhardwaj remarked.
