Patna Metro ’s first phase runs between Bhootnath, Zero Mile, and New ISBT with fares from Rs 15 to Rs 30. Token-based travel is currently required.

The Patna Metro Rail project was officially opened at the Bhootnath Metro Station by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Passengers will have access to services that reduce traffic congestion starting on Tuesday. The state’s transition to modern transportation is marked by the opening of this first section of the Patna Metro. Future plans include for the metro network to be expanded in order to connect more areas.

 Patna Metro’s initial phase :

The Patna Metro’s initial phase will run between the metro stations at New ISBT, Zero Mile, and Bhootnath. The minimum and maximum fares are Rs 15 and Rs 30, respectively. Currently, travelers will have to buy tokens in order to travel.

For the inauguration, there is a special decoration at the Bhootnath Metro Station. This project is anticipated to improve Patna’s connectivity and reduce traffic. The metro’s launch is anticipated to relieve city dwellers of traffic congestion.

Details of the Patna Metro

– For 14 hours, the trains will run from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

– Metro service will be accessible at each station every 20 minutes.

– 40 to 42 train trips will be made every day.

– There will be 945 standing passengers and 147 seating passengers.

– There will be 12 seats set aside on each train for women and those with disabilities.

– Mobile and laptop charging stations will be available in the metro coaches.

– The Red Line (16.86 km) and Blue Line (14.56 km), the two Patna Metro lines, will each have a total of 24 stations.
