PM Modi Assassination Plot: Buxar Police Arrest Man for Contacting CIA for Funds

Bihar Authorities Intercept Digital Communication with CIA as Accused Demands Funds for High-Stakes Conspiracy

BUXAR — In a major security breakthrough, the Buxar police have dismantled an alleged PM Modi assassination plot involving a local youth from Bihar. Acting on high-priority intelligence from central agencies, a specialized police team raided a residence in Araria village under the Simri police station area. During the operation, they arrested the primary suspect, identified as Aman Tiwari (also known as Aman Kumar). The arrest has sent shockwaves through the region, especially as investigators uncovered links to foreign communication.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Shubham Arya confirmed that the suspect was orchestrating a grave conspiracy against the Prime Minister of India. Specifically, the accused allegedly used digital platforms to reach out to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States. He reportedly offered to compromise the Prime Minister’s security in exchange for a substantial monetary payout.

Digital Footprints: Accused Approached CIA with 22-Day Plan

The investigation into the PM Modi assassination plot reveals a disturbing level of digital audacity. Tiwari allegedly sent a formal proposal via the CIA’s official website, detailing his intent. In his communication, he reportedly demanded a “huge amount of money” and requested a 22-day window to execute the task. Police sources indicate that central monitoring agencies flagged this interaction, leading to the immediate mobilization of local Bihar authorities.

During the raid, the police seized a laptop, mobile phones, and several other electronic devices from the suspect’s room. Forensic experts are currently examining these gadgets to trace the exact timeline of his communications. Furthermore, the room where Tiwari resided has been sealed to preserve potential evidence. Interestingly, this is not Tiwari’s first brush with the law. In 2022, he was arrested for a similar high-profile threat involving the hacking of the Kolkata airport.

Wider Network Probed as Two More Accomplices Held

Following the initial interrogation of Aman Tiwari, the Buxar police carried out additional raids. These operations resulted in the arrest of two more individuals suspected of being part of the wider network. While the names of these accomplices have not been fully disclosed, they are currently undergoing intensive questioning. The police aim to determine if this was a “lone wolf” attempt or a coordinated effort by a larger sleeper cell.

The family of the main accused has expressed total shock at the developments. Tiwari’s father, Ganesh Tiwari, claimed the family had no knowledge of his son’s online activities or alleged extremist leanings. However, the police are exercising extreme caution given the sensitivity of the target. They are investigating potential local links that might have provided logistics or technical support for the digital conspiracy.

Security Tightened Following Intelligence Alerts

The bust comes at a time of heightened political activity across the country. Consequently, security around the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and upcoming public rallies has been fortified. The Buxar SP noted that the police are working closely with central intelligence wings to uncover every layer of this conspiracy. This proactive approach ensures that any further threats are neutralized before they gain momentum.

Moreover, the authorities are looking into Tiwari’s past psychological profile and his history of “attention-seeking” digital threats. While some suggest the plot might have been an amateur attempt to extort money, the police are treating it as a serious national security threat. The forensic report on the seized electronic equipment is expected to be released within the next few days.
