New Delhi | India — Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah will launch the NAFED auction portal NAFEX.in on 23 June 2026 at Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan, New Delhi, marking a significant step toward digital transformation in agricultural marketing.
The event will also be attended by Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with senior officials of the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED).
NAFED Auction Portal to boost transparency in agricultural auctions
The launch of NAFEX.in auction portal is expected to strengthen transparency, efficiency, and ease of operations in the agricultural auction system. - NAFED-KALYAN scholarship scheme for farmers’ children
- DRISHTI portal for inventory management of pulses and oilseeds
- ERP portal for enterprise resource planning
These initiatives are designed to strengthen agricultural governance alongside the NAFEX.in auction portal, improving efficiency across the cooperative system.
Scholarship support and farmer welfare focus
During the event, Amit Shah will distribute scholarship cheques under the NAFED-KALYAN scheme to support the education of farmers’ children. The initiative complements the broader goals of the NAFEX.in auction portal, which focuses on empowering farmers through digital tools and welfare support.
