A 23 old engineer, Piyush Ashok Kawade, tragically ended his life by jumping from the seventh floor of his building at Atlas Copco in Hinjewadi, Pune on Monday Morning
Kawade, originally from Nashik, had joined the company just a year ago. During the mid- morning meeting, he complained of chest Pain and stepped out. moments later, he took fatal plunge from the rooftop
A sucide note has been recovered at the scene, in it he expressed that he had ” Failed in Life”.
Police arrived swiftly, and registered a case of accidental death, pending investigation. A post-mortem examination is complete, and his family has been informed.
Authorities are reviewing the note, CCTV Footage and interviewing Co-workers to understand the motive and context.
Atlas Copco released a statement expressing grief and pledging support to the family and staff. They emphasized employee well-being as priority and committed in cooperating fully with the investigators
