Rahul Gandhi Raises UGC-NET Exam Issues, Questions Transparency of NTA Examination Process

New Delhi: The UGC-NET Exam has come under scrutiny after Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi raised allegations of irregularities in the UGC-NET June 2026 examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Rahul Gandhi alleged that serious concerns have emerged regarding the examination process and accused the central government of failing to ensure accountability in matters related to competitive exams.

Rahul Gandhi Raises Questions Over UGC-NET Exam Process

In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi shared a media report and claimed that student leaders in Rohtak, Haryana, had raised concerns over the UGC-NET Exam.

He alleged that a 100-page PDF was circulated before the examination and claimed that several questions from the Sociology paper matched the contents of the leaked document. The allegations have not been confirmed by authorities.

Allegations of Question Paper Availability Before Exam

Rahul Gandhi further claimed that the question paper was allegedly being sold in some states, including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan.

He also alleged that the same network was claiming access to question papers for upcoming examinations. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the UGC-NET Exam, has not issued an immediate response to these claims.

Rahul Gandhi said that repeated examination-related controversies affect the future of lakhs of students who prepare for years for competitive exams.

He demanded transparency in the examination system and accountability from authorities to protect students’ interests.
