The first Ekadashi of July 2026 will be Yogini Ekadashi, which will be observed on July 10, 2026.

Yogini Ekadashi 2026 falls during the Krishna Paksha of the Ashadha month. According to Hindu beliefs, observing this fast helps devotees seek forgiveness from past mistakes and brings happiness, prosperity, and spiritual growth.

It is also believed that the religious benefits of observing Yogini Ekadashi are equivalent to feeding thousands of Brahmins, making it highly significant among Vishnu devotees.

Yogini Ekadashi Shubh Muhurat and Parana Time

According to the Panchang, the Ekadashi Tithi will begin at 8:16 AM on July 10, 2026, and will end at 5:22 AM on July 11, 2026.

The Yogini Ekadashi 2026 Parana (breaking of the fast) will be performed on July 11, 2026.

The auspicious Parana timing will be from 2:03 PM to 4:42 PM.

Devshayani Ekadashi 2026 Date and Significance

The second Ekadashi of July 2026 will be Devshayani Ekadashi, which will be observed on July 25, 2026.

Devshayani Ekadashi 2026 is considered an important day as it marks the beginning of Lord Vishnu’s Yoga Nidra (divine sleep). According to religious beliefs, Lord Vishnu enters a four-month resting period on this day.

This period is known as Chaturmas, which continues until Dev Uthani Ekadashi, when Lord Vishnu is believed to awaken.

During Chaturmas, many auspicious ceremonies such as weddings and major celebrations are traditionally avoided. However, the period is considered highly beneficial for spiritual activities like worship, meditation, chanting, and charity.
