Oppo has officially introduced the Oppo Reno 16 5G series in global markets outside China. The latest lineup includes the Oppo Reno 16 5G, Oppo Reno 16 Pro 5G, and Oppo Reno 16F 5G. The new smartphones bring premium features such as AMOLED displays with high refresh rates, advanced camera systems, AI-powered tools, large batteries, and 80W wired fast charging.
All three devices run on ColorOS 16.0 and feature an IP69 rating for superior dust and water resistance, making the Oppo Reno 16 5G series one of the most durable smartphone lineups in its segment.
Oppo Reno 16F 5G Specifications
The Oppo Reno 16F 5G features a 6.57-inch Full HD+ Crystal Guard+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 92.8% screen-to-body ratio, and up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness in High Brightness Mode. The display is protected by Crystal Guard glass for added durability.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
For photography, the Reno 16F 5G offers a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it houses a 50MP selfie camera for high-resolution selfies and video calls.

The handset packs a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
Oppo Reno 16 5G and Reno 16 Pro 5G Specifications
The Oppo Reno 16 5G series also includes the Reno 16 5G and Reno 16 Pro 5G, both featuring a 6.32-inch Full HD+ Crystal Guard+ AMOLED display with a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. The Reno 16 supports a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pro model upgrades to a smoother 144Hz display.
The Reno 16 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, whereas the Reno 16 Pro 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset.
In the camera department, the Reno 16 5G features a triple 50MP rear camera system, including a primary sensor with OIS, a telephoto camera with OIS, and an ultra-wide sensor. Meanwhile, the Reno 16 Pro 5G boasts a 200MP main camera with OIS, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP telephoto camera. Both smartphones include a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and video conferencing.
The two devices are backed by a 6,700mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging.
AI Features and New Accessories
A key highlight of the Oppo Reno 16 5G series is the introduction of Oppo’s new AI Snap Key. The customisable hardware button allows users to quickly capture screenshots, start screen recordings, record voice notes, or access AI Mind Space using different press gestures.
Oppo has also introduced the new Bubble Screen accessory, a magnetic wireless display that connects via Bluetooth and functions as a live rear camera viewfinder, offering creators a more convenient photography experience.
Oppo Reno 16 5G Series Price and Availability
The Oppo Reno 16F 5G starts at THB 15,999 (approximately Rs 45,000) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the higher storage option is priced at THB 16,999 (around Rs 48,000). It is available in Pop White, Dream Purple, and Twilight Violet colour options.
The Oppo Reno 16 5G is priced at THB 19,999 (around Rs 56,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model and THB 22,999 (approximately Rs 65,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Buyers can choose from Dream Purple, Twilight Violet, and Pop White finishes.
The Oppo Reno 16 Pro 5G is available in a 12GB + 256GB configuration priced at THB 26,999 (roughly Rs 76,000). It comes in Starlight Black and Pop White colour options.
