New Delhi: Oppo has officially confirmed that the Oppo Reno 16 series will debut in India on July 2 at 12 PM IST. The lineup will include two smartphones, the Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16c, both of which focus heavily on camera performance, photography features and content creation tools.
The Oppo Reno 16 series will be available via Amazon and Flipkart, with dedicated product pages already live ahead of the launch.
Oppo Reno 16 Series Focuses on Camera Performance
The Reno 16 series is designed with a strong emphasis on imaging capabilities. The standard Oppo Reno 16 will feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
It will also include a 50-megapixel telephoto portrait lens with 3.5x optical zoom and an 85mm focal length, along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. This makes the Oppo Reno 16 series one of the most camera-focused mid-premium smartphone lineups expected this year.
Reno 16c Offers Simplified Dual-Camera Setup
The Reno 16 series also includes the Reno 16c, which features a dual-camera system. It retains the primary and ultrawide sensors but skips the dedicated telephoto lens, offering a more affordable alternative within the lineup.

Both devices in the Reno 16 series come with a 50-megapixel front camera housed in a punch-hole design. The selfie camera supports a 100-degree field of view, making it suitable for group selfies and wide-angle shots.
Advanced Video and AI Features
Oppo has confirmed that the Reno 16 series will support 4K video recording at 60fps. The camera system is also enhanced with dual LED flash and several AI-powered tools.
Features such as Dual-View Video 2.0, Popout 2.0, Pop Cam and AI Remix Collage are included to improve photography and video creation experiences. These additions further strengthen the Oppo Reno 16 series as a content-creation-focused smartphone lineup.
Oppo Bubble Accessory Adds Extra Display
Alongside the smartphones, Oppo has teased a new accessory called the Oppo Bubble. The magnetic add-on attaches to the back of the device and features a 1.73-inch AMOLED secondary display.
The Oppo Bubble is expected to enhance notifications and quick interactions, adding a unique layer of functionality to the Oppo Reno 16 series experience.
Design and Colour Options
The Reno 16 series will be available in Starry White, Stellar Purple and Twilight Violet colour options. The Reno 16 will also feature a HoloVerse 3D design with a floating 3D glitter finish, giving it a premium and distinctive look.
With its official launch scheduled for July 2, the Reno 16 series is expected to attract attention for its camera capabilities, design innovations and AI-powered features.
