New Delhi: Asus has expanded its laptop lineup in India with the launch of three new models — Chromebook CM32 Detachable, CM14, and CM15. Targeted at students, professionals, and everyday users, the company aims to strengthen its presence in the budget-friendly ChromeOS segment with its latest Asus Chromebooks.
Asus Chromebooks Price and Availability in India
The new Asus Chromebooks are priced competitively for the Indian market:
- Chromebook CM14 (CM1405): ₹26,990
- Chromebook CM15 (CM1505): ₹28,990
- Chromebook CM32 Detachable (CM3206): ₹37,990
The CM32 Detachable is currently available for pre-orders, while all three models will go on sale from June 19 via the Asus e-shop and Amazon India.
Performance and Hardware Overview
All three Asus Chromebooks are powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5x RAM. The devices also feature MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification, making them suitable for everyday rough use.
Storage options go up to 256GB eMMC, and all models run on ChromeOS, offering access to Google’s ecosystem, cloud services, and productivity tools.
Asus Chromebook CM32 Detachable: Key Features
The highlight of the new Asus Chromebooks lineup is the CM32 Detachable, which offers a 2-in-1 design that works as both a laptop and a tablet.
It features a 12.1-inch 2.5K touchscreen display with 600 nits brightness and 98% DCI-P3 color coverage. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and supports stylus input for writing and sketching.
Camera, Battery, and Connectivity
The CM32 Detachable comes with dual 5MP cameras, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It is powered by a 42Wh battery that offers up to 12 hours of usage and supports 45W fast charging.

CM14 and CM15: Traditional Laptop Options
Alongside the detachable model, Asus has also launched CM14 and CM15 for users who prefer standard laptops.
The CM14 features a 14-inch Full HD display, while the CM15 comes with a larger 15.6-inch Full HD screen. Both models offer up to 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and MIL-STD-810H durability.
