Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal congratulated the women of Kerala after the launch of the Kerala Free Bus Travel Scheme, calling it a positive step towards women empowerment and social welfare.

In a post on X, he said it was encouraging to see welfare initiatives inspired by Delhi and Punjab being adopted in other states. He praised the Kerala Free Bus Travel Scheme as a transformative step for improving women’s mobility and independence.

Kerala Government Launches Free Bus Travel for Women

The Congress-led UDF government in Kerala officially launched the Free Bus Travel Scheme in Kerala on Monday, fulfilling a key election promise. The scheme was inaugurated in Thiruvananthapuram by Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan.

He described the Kerala Free Bus Travel Scheme as a “decisive step” towards building a more inclusive and progressive Kerala, aimed at empowering women across the state.
