New Delhi: Canva has announced the global rollout of Offline Editing in Canva, a highly anticipated feature that allows users to continue working on their designs and creative projects even without an internet connection. The launch addresses one of the most requested features from Canva’s global community and aims to make creativity and productivity more accessible for users on the move.
The feature was first introduced during Canva Create and is now being made available to users worldwide. With Offline Editing in Canva, creators can continue editing presentations, social media graphics, documents, and other projects while traveling, attending classes, or working in locations with unreliable internet connectivity.
How Offline Editing in Canva Works
The new feature enables users to save selected designs for offline access before losing connectivity. Once enabled, Offline Editing in Canva allows users to open and modify their projects across supported devices without requiring an active internet connection.
According to Canva, any changes made while offline are automatically saved and synced once the device reconnects to the internet. This ensures a seamless workflow and prevents users from losing progress during periods of poor connectivity.
Available at No Additional Cost
Canva confirmed that the feature will be available at no extra charge for eligible users. The company said users can continue working offline for up to 14 days after enabling offline support for a design.
To activate Offline Editing in Canva, users simply need to select the “Make available offline” option on a project before going offline. The design will then remain accessible for viewing and editing without internet access.

Canva highlighted India as one of its fastest-growing markets and said the new feature was developed with mobile-first users in mind. Canva Continues to Expand Its AI Ecosystem
The rollout of Offline Editing in Canva comes shortly after Canva’s integration with Google Gemini through its connected app. The partnership allows users to create designs within Gemini and seamlessly continue editing them inside Canva’s platform.
Canva has also integrated Google’s Nano Banana image-generation technology into its Magic Layers feature, further expanding the platform’s AI-powered creative capabilities and collaboration tools.
