Honda ZR-V e:HEV has officially been unveiled in India as a new premium hybrid SUV offering from Honda. The model arrives as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), with pre-bookings already open and deliveries scheduled to begin in July 2026.

The spotlight is firmly on the Honda ZR-V, which brings a blend of performance, efficiency, and modern technology to India’s growing hybrid SUV segment.

Honda ZR-V Engine And Performance

The Honda ZR-V is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with dual electric motors. This hybrid setup produces a combined output of 181 BHP and 315 Nm of torque, delivered through an e-CVT gearbox to the front wheels.

Honda claims the Honda ZR-V can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in just 8 seconds, while offering a top speed of 172 km/h (electronically limited). The SUV also delivers an impressive fuel efficiency figure of 22.79 km/l, making it both powerful and economical.

 Design Highlights

The ZR-V features a bold and modern design language. At the front, it gets a hexagonal grille with vertical slats and sleek LED headlamps paired with L-shaped DRLs.

At the rear, the SUV is equipped with wraparound LED tail lamps, a roof spoiler, and a shark fin antenna. It rides on stylish 18-inch alloy wheels, giving it a strong road presence.

 Interior And Features

Inside, the  ZR-V offers a clean and premium cabin layout. It includes a 10.25-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and a 3-spoke steering wheel.

The SUV comes loaded with features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, powered seats, powered tailgate, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.

 Safety And ADAS

Safety is one of the key highlights of the Honda ZR-V. It comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS, 8 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system).

These advanced safety features make the Honda ZR-V a strong contender in the premium hybrid SUV segment in India.
