Haryana CM Saini honors Atal Bihari Vajpayee with statues, renamed public spaces, and launches digital portals to enhance governance and transparency.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini paid heartfelt homage to the late Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, calling him a visionary statesman whose life embodied honesty, democracy, and people-centered leadership. In remembrance of former Prime Minister Vajpayee, the Chief Minister stated that he was not only uncompromising in his beliefs but also in his values and ideals.
He underlined that Atal ji never wavered in his principles notwithstanding the change of regimes. Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s journey taught the country the value of values, integrity, and moral leadership, according to the Chief Minister, who described his life as a constant source of inspiration.According to the Chief Minister, the current State Government is adamantly following Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s example, whose principles of good governance continue to influence public service and policy in Haryana.
Saini made a significant announcement on Good Governance Day, stating that the State Government has chosen to name at least one public location in each of the 87 Urban Local Bodies in the State after Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee in honor of his birth centennial.

Speaking to the crowd at the State-level Good Governance Day celebration in Panchkula, the Chief Minister also declared that statues of Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee would be erected at these sites in order to perpetuate his principles of democracy, unity, and open government. According to the Chief Minister, a number of organizations would also be founded in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s honor to raise awareness of his life, ideas, and priceless achievements, particularly among young people.
According to Saini, each Urban Local Body has already identified a suitable community asset, such as a community center, park, library, auditorium, senior living facility, or commercial location. Within the next six months, he remarked, the development and rebranding process in honor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be finished.
He claimed that these programs demonstrate the State Government’s steadfast dedication to upholding and continuing the legacy of a great leader whose values continue to fortify governance founded on openness, inclusivity, and public welfare.
The Chief Minister Introduces Novel Digital Projects
A number of significant digital projects and portals were launched by Saini. The initiatives include the Human Resources Department’s Security of Tenure portal, the Town and Country Planning Department’s application portal for the designation of an Infrastructure-Deficient Industrial Area, the Press Release Management System (PRMS), and the Information, Public Relations, Languages, and Cultural Department’s Online Press Accreditation Portal. Additionally, the Chief Minister introduced the Labour Department’s Instant Registration of Commercial Establishments. These programs seek to improve government procedures’ speed, efficiency, and openness while also increasing the accessibility and citizen-friendliness of public services.
During the presentation, the Chief Minister also unveiled a coffee table book that highlighted the government’s policies and initiatives as well as the New Year calendar.
