It is important to mention that women throughout the nation observed Karwa Chauth by performing traditional rituals. The festivities were actively participated in by women in Prayagraj and Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.

What You Must Know About Karwa Chauth

On October 10, this year, Hindu women will observe Karwa Chauth, as they do annually, by fasting for the health and longevity of their spouses

Women consume food from their’sargi’ prior to commencing their fast. They break their fast after the moonrise, gazing into their spouses’ eyes and offering a special prayer to the moon.

Ingredients necessary for the Puja include water, milk, kumkum, honey, chandan, sugar, curd, incense sticks, camphor, Karwa, Kalawa, Maththi, roli, and an oil lamp.
