A truck drove into a crowd supporting Iranian protesters in the US, caught on camera. Police are investigating the shocking incident.
In an attempt to rally sympathy for Iranian protestors in Los Angeles, a guy crashed a truck into a crowd. The protesters scurried to avoid the collision and then ran behind the speeding car in an attempt to attack it.
Whether anyone was hurt would be unclear.
In a video, the demonstrators were seen surrounding the truck, hurling flagpoles through the driver’s side window, and punching the driver. The U-Haul truck, surrounded by police cars and with its side mirrors broken, was stopped a few blocks from where it had crashed into the throng.
It’s unclear, though, if the motorist was detained.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, paramedics assessed two individuals, but both refused medical attention.
Los Angeles saw the largest anti-government demonstrations since 2022, with hundreds of individuals turning out in favor of the Iranian people, who are protesting against Iran’s religious leadership. First sparked by rising inflation, the protests later descended into violent turmoil.
According to activists, the crackdown on the national protests has killed over 530 people and left more others believed dead. During the two weeks of protests, more than 10,600 people have also been arrested, according to the Associated Press, which cited the Human Rights Activists News Agency in the United States.

Phone lines and the internet have been disconnected nationwide. Videos allegedly showing the demonstrators assembling in Tehran’s Punak neighborhood were sent out of Iran, most likely via Starlink satellite transmitters. Several protesters were heard banging metal while fireworks exploded, and others were observed waving their cell phones while wearing flashlights.
The Iranian leadership claimed that Israel and the United States were inciting unrest.
Trump’s statements
Amid reports that the number of deaths is increasing, Donald Trump stated that the United States is evaluating “very strong options” in reaction to events in Iran. In response to a question about whether Iran is going too far, Trump stated, “It appears that they are, and some people who shouldn’t be killed are being killed.” If you want to call them leaders, these are violent. I’m not sure whether they’re leaders or whether they just use violence to control others.
The US military, Trump claims, is keeping a careful eye on the situation. We’re giving it a serious look. We’re considering some pretty powerful possibilities, and the military is investigating. Together, we’ll decide,” he remarked.
Additionally, the US president stated that he intends to talk to entrepreneur Elon Musk about bringing back internet access in Iran. He’s very excellent at that kind of stuff, he’s got a very good company,” Trump told reporters when asked if he would work with Musk’s SpaceX company, which provides a satellite internet service called “Starlink” that has been used in Iran.
