Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, has authorized Rs 88.84 crore for a number of development projects. In a CMO release, he approved a budget of Rs 65.65 crore for the building of the City Drainage Plan Phase I under the Sharda Ghat Project.

Specifics of Authorized Plans

Additionally, the Chief Minister has given the go-ahead to build a State Guest House at Jolly Grant Airport in the Dehradun district for Rs 4.46 crore.

Additionally, the Disaster Relief Fund has approved Rs 15 crore to rebuild 225 Patwari outposts destroyed between 30% and 70%, and 37 Patwari outposts damaged more than 70%, based on requests submitted by different districts.

The Chief Minister has also approved a Rs 3.39 crore plan for integrated water conservation, water augmentation, and soil conservation/restoration works related to the treatment of subsidiary rivers/streams (Kalsan Bholeshwar) in Champawat district under the Watershed Management Programme.

In addition, he has given his approval to the Revenue Council’s plan to replace the condemned vehicles with three Bolero cars for the District Office in Dehradun, at a cost of Rs 10 lakh each.

A statue honoring the Buksa Tribal Community is unveiled by the CM.

According to a statement, Dhami virtually unveiled the statue of Buksa tribal leader Raja Jagat Dev on Friday at Gram Panchayat Roshanpur Dalbaba in the Gadarpur neighborhood of Udham Singh Nagar district.

The Chief Minister stated that Raja Jagat Dev’s life is a priceless illustration of bravery, sacrifice, religious dedication, and cultural preservation, according to the Uttarakhand CMO. According to him, today is a day to honor the magnificent customs, culture, and sacrifices of the Buksa tribal people rather than just the presentation of a statue.

Raja Jagat Dev dedicated his life to defending religion and culture in spite of difficult conditions. His tale is not only one of bravery but also of unwavering faith and self-respect.

Members of the Buksa group, who dwell in places like Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital, and Kotdwar, continue to preserve their culture, customs, and sense of self-worth, the Chief Minister added. Through programs in education, healthcare, housing, and employment, he continued, the state government is fully committed to the cultural preservation of indigenous communities, the documenting of their history, and their welfare.

According to the release, the chief minister of Uttarakhad emphasized the need of conducting study on Raja Jagat Dev’s legacy so that his life and contributions can serve as an inspiration for future generations.

Announcement of New Development Initiatives

Additionally, the Chief Minister unveiled three local development-related projects. These include rebuilding a 3-kilometer road from Gram Balramnagar to Khempur, a 4-kilometer road from Gram Sitapur to ANK Inter College, and the construction of a boundary wall, tin shed, flooring, and restrooms at the Shri Dalbaba Temple prisr in Gram Sabha Roshanpur.
