State to see upgrades in health facilities, tourism routes, street lighting and civic infrastructure.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami clears Rs 51 crore for Uttarakhand’s development, covering Ayurveda units, Circuit House renovation, urban lighting and trekking routes.

Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, has authorized the approval of around Rs 51 crore for various development projects throughout the state.

Approved Major Development Projects

The building of an industrial shed and storage facilities at the Rishikul Government Ayurvedic Pharmacy in Haridwar, the expansion of the Directorate of Ayurvedic and Unani Services building, the renovation, maintenance, and expansion of the Circuit House in Champawat, the improvement of the lighting and garbage collection systems in urban local bodies, the execution of the Chief Minister’s announcements, and the planning of camps under the “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar” campaign are all included, according to an official release.

According to these approvals, Rs 7.44 crore has been approved for the expansion of the Directorate of Ayurvedic and Unani Services building, and Rs 25.74 crore has been approved for the construction of an industrial shed and storage facility for processing work at Rishikul Government Ayurvedic Pharmacy (Drug Manufacturing Unit), Haridwar.

The State Guest House Circuit House in Champawat will be expanded, renovated, and maintained at a budget of Rs 11.41 crore.

Improvements to Urban Amenities

Furthermore, Rs 15.95 lakh has been approved for the acquisition of rubbish collection vehicles in 14 urban local bodies around the state, and Rs 99.17 lakh has been approved for LED and street lighting projects in regions under the Nagar Palika Parishad Nagla.

Funding for Public Outreach Campaigns

As part of the “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar” campaign, which has been going on since December 17, 2025, the Chief Minister has also authorized Rs 3.16 crore for the organization of camps in Nyay Panchayats and Gram Panchayats of every district. In addition to ensuring immediate resolution of public complaints, the effort seeks to provide government social programs and services directly to the populace.

Funding for Announcements by Chief Ministers

Furthermore, a number of significant clearances have been granted by Chief Minister Dhami for the execution of Chief Ministerial statements, with the corresponding government orders being issued right away.

These include Rs 50 lakh for the construction of a trekking route from Suvalekh to Chandika Ghat and the Chandika Ghat fair site in the Pithoragarh Assembly constituency; Rs 67.45 lakh for the construction of a trekking route from Jamradi to Rantoda Badkhet in Vin area of the Pithoragarh Assembly constituency; Rs 50.68 lakh for the installation of CCTV cameras in the Salt Assembly constituency in the Almora district; and Rs 39 lakh for planned construction and solar chain-linked fencing in Adarsh Gram Panchayat Sarkot of the Karnaprayag Assembly constituency in the Chamoli district.
