Pushkar Singh Dhami seeks Central assistance for wildlife safety and inspires Agniveer trainees with a hands-on visit to training facilities.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called Union Minister for Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav to discuss the state’s growing human-wildlife conflict situations.
The Chief Minister said that the government and Forest Department are effectively addressing this issue and that the required guidelines for managing aggressive wild animals have been established.
According to a statement, the Chief Minister asked for more assistance and resources to address this significant issue.
The Union Minister emphasized modern technology, scientific administration, and a quick relief mechanism while guaranteeing all feasible help from the Central Government. The Chief Minister thanked the Center for its assistance and said the state administration is trying to strike a balance between protecting wildlife and ensuring public safety.
Dhami visited the Sports Department of the Provincial Armed Constabulary Directorate in Raipur (Dehradun) earlier today, as well as the Agniveer Recruitment Training Center run by the Department of Youth Welfare and Provincial Armed Constabulary.

He looked over the Center’s facilities and training programs during the visit.
The Chief Minister had direct conversations with the young people getting ready for the Agniveer recruiting, asking them about their daily routine, training experience, and difficulties. Additionally, he asked what amenities they thought were necessary during the training session.
The Chief Minister examined the center’s physical training facilities, jogging drills, sporting events, and other essential facilities while there. He gave the administrators instructions to guarantee that every facility offered to the trainees satisfies strict quality requirements.
According to Dhami, the state government is giving young people preparing for Agniveer recruitment free, excellent training so they may confidently serve the country.
The Chief Minister engaged with the young people and took part in sporting events held at the training facility to support the trainees, inspiring them to pursue their goals with self-control, diligence, and an optimistic outlook.
