Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami honors freedom fighter Pandit Ramsumer Shukla, announces new medical college & AIIMS in Udham Singh Nagar.

Dhami Honors Freedom Fighter: Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister, was present at the ceremony held on Thursday in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. Pandit Ramsumer Shukla Government Medical College in the Udham Singh district hosted the “Smriti Samaroh.”

The event was planned on the anniversary of Pandit Ramsumer Shukla’s passing as a freedom fighter. When CM Dhami arrived at the location, a sizable crowd of locals greeted him.

The state’s chief minister presented flowers and dedicated a plaque at the statue of Freedom Fighter Pandit Ramsumer Shukla on the grounds of the Medical College.

In remembrance of Pandit Ramsumer Shukla, the chief minister of Uttarakhand stated at the occasion that the independence warrior was always watchful in defending the rights of farmers and was instrumental in the development of the Terai region.

“First, I honor Pt. Ramsumer Shukla Ji, the legendary independence fighter. He was constantly watching out for the farmers’ interests. Pt. Shukla Ji was essential to the settlement and development of the Tarai region, according to CM Dhami.

He added that Uttarakhand is establishing new standards for wealth and growth under PM Modi’s direction.
“Under the Honorable Prime Minister’s direction, Uttarakhand is establishing new standards for wealth and growth. “The choices we are making today are setting an example for the whole nation,” CM Dhami stated.

The chief minister of the state added that several initiatives are being carried out to advance Rudrapur and the Udham Singh Nagar district.
“From the state’s cities to its villages, our government is improving infrastructure. CM Dhami stated, “A number of initiatives are also being carried out for the development of Rudrapur and Udham Singh Nagar district.

The Uttarakhand Chief Minister declared that a college would be constructed in honor of Pandit Ramsumer, with completion scheduled for the end of the current fiscal year. Additionally, he said that the Udham Singh Nagar district has received approval for the building of AIIMS.

“A medical college is being built in Pt. Ramsumer Ji’s honor. By the end of this fiscal year, the construction of this medical college should be finished, Dhami continued.

“I express my gratitude to the esteemed Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji for his unique bond with the state. AIIMS in the Udham Singh Nagar district was authorized within three days of the request being made to Prime Minister ji,” Dhami continued.

Days after the state government announced a significant rise in the sugarcane support price, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Haldwani on Wednesday and was greeted with a resounding cheer from farmers.

Cultivators in Uttarakhand have praised the news as a major relief measure in advance of the crushing season.
At the event, farmers from different districts came together to give the Chief Minister a specifically chosen basket that represented the agricultural wealth of the state.

Mahendra Singh Negi, the president of the BJP Kisan Morcha State, presented the basket, which included sugarcane and traditional hill products including ginger, honey, Malta (citrus fruit), and Gaderi (colocasia). The measure demonstrated the farming community’s appreciation for what they called a prompt and proactive government involvement.
